Jean provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults across a wide range of concerns. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs, drawing on a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

She supports clients in the following areas:

Jean’s assessment process is thoughtful, thorough, and designed to provide clear insights and practical results that can be meaningfully applied. 

 

Cognitive and Educational Assessments

Suitable for clients who are 7 years and older and provide valuable insight into cognitive abilities, learning profiles, and academic skills.  This facilitates the understanding of parents and educators on how to enhance and support the learning and development of the student while protecting their long-term confidence.

 

Assessments typically include:

  • A structured parent interview

  • Standardised cognitive testing (e.g. WISC-V)

  • Academic achievement testing (e.g. WIAT-III),

  • Additional measures as required.

The assessment is conducted over two sessions (approximately two hours each) followed by a feedback session where a detailed written report is provided, including results, recommendations, and practical strategies.

 

Career Assessments

This comprehensive assessment supports adolescents and adults in gaining a deeper understanding of their profile which empowers them to make informed decisions about career pathways. 

The assessment comprises:

  • A 1 one-hour interview

  • A three-hour assessment session

  • A one-hour feedback session

A detailed written report with results of the assessment and recommendations is provided.

 

ADHD Assessments

Jean provides ADHD assessments for adolescents and adults, offering a clear and supportive process to better understand the challenges associated with the construct.

The assessment includes:

  • A one-hour structured evaluation

  • A one-hour comprehensive feedback session

A written report on the findings and practical strategies is provided.  Jean works collaboratively with clients to ensure they feel informed, validated, and supported in understanding how ADHD may be impacting their daily life, relationships, and wellbeing.

 

Pre-employment Assessments

Jean offers pre-employment psychological assessments for organisations seeking deeper insight into potential candidates.  

The process includes:

  • A 1.5-hour session incorporating a clinical interview and psychometric assessment.

A comprehensive report is provided to the employer, outlining relevant findings and assessment results, along with a professional recommendation regarding the candidate’s suitability. 

 

Jean ensures the assessment process is respectful, supportive and a positive experience for each candidate.

Jean is trained in the Gottman Method and other evidence-based approaches to couples therapy, supporting partners to strengthen, repair and deepen their relationship.

She supports couples to:

  • Improve communication

  • Rebuild trust and emotional connection

  • Navigate conflict in healthy, productive ways

  • Deepen intimacy and mutual understanding

Jean creates a space that is both supportive and honest, where couples can openly explore challenges while feeling respected. Her work focuses on equipping partners with the skills needed for a stronger, more connected, and resilient relationship.

Ask your GP about a mental healthcare plan that would entitle you to a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. 

NDIS

National Disability Insurance Scheme 

We can provide services to clients of the NDIS that are both self-managed and plan-managed.

Private Health

Private Health Insurance 

Many private health insurers offer rebates for psychology services. Discuss your rebate entitlements directly with your insurance provider. All invoices will need to be paid in full on the day of your appointment and rebate entitlements can be personally claimed from your health insurer directly.
